Meet the Designer

Nicole Roozemond first created Wanja Franja - My Precious Jewels in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, back in 1983.

Anything bright, shiny and fun would be used.

She left behind her precious jewels to travel to Thailand, San Francisco and India and finally landed in Mykonos, Greece, Where she stayed, and stayed, and stayed... met her husband, moved to Athens, had three sons and eventually saw the light: "I want to make jewellery again and this time more precious than ever!" This is how Wanja Franja - My precious Jewels Part 2 was born. Nicole is more serious now - but not too serious - and even more creative! She now makes bracelets, rings, belts, necklaces, earrings and anklets. And not to forget she makes all her glass beads, lampwork beads, herself!
